So, battling an Elder Demon by myself was a great idea…said no one. Ever.

Anyways, with that—and my impending death—out of the way, Evin decided it was time I go on her stupid “Journey.” I didn’t want to, but she said I would find out where I came from, and we all know how I’ve been dying to find that out.

What Evin failed to mention were the issues I would face on this Journey. I’m talking pirates, a mermaid, fairies, and a freaking assassin. Sounds fun, right? At least I got to see some cool stuff along the way…

My crew and I went to Egypt and saw the Great Pyramids, learning more than your average tourist would. *wink* Our path led us to Italy to fight some not-so-nice dudes in suits. More than that, in the Mediterranean, we visited perhaps the most exclusive establishment in the world, but that’s real hush-hush and I might get in trouble if I tell you. The coolest place we saw was one lost to the ages, an ancient place, ripe with stories and myth.

But there was something else, something dark, lurking. And it would ruin any peace I found, threatening not only my life, but the life of someone I held more dear than myself.
